The thoughts and musings of coming to terms with turning 50 and what I want to be when I grow up.

It is a good thing it wasn't hurting...

Dateline - Charleston, SC - Last week, I thought I had lost a filling for my tooth had chipped. I wasn't in pain, but had Julie call and make an appointment with my dentist friend. Seemed like a good idea to be as pro-active as possible.

Now, I am $3,200 poorer for the experience! I not complaining (well, I am, but not too loudly.) because I did want to get this done. But, I wanted to do it on my timeline, not my mouths.

Oh well, it is only money. I hate to think what it would cost if my tooth was really hurting...yikes!

That took most, if not all of the morning. I got back from the dentist, packed and left for the airport. As luck would have it, I missed my flight...by 10 minutes.

Instead of the 3:59 flight that I orginally scheduled and paid for, I took the 5:30 flight. It is kind of funny in some regards. I would have took the 5:30 flight to begin with, but in order to save the company money, took the 3:59 one. Then, because of bad traffic, I ended up on the one I wanted anyhow.

It is cold here. The weather says that it will be the coldest night of the year here in Charleston. This is going to be a cold week. Tomorrow night, I head to Syracuse, NY.

I can take the cold. Right now, the challenge I am having is with the job. But that is a story for another day.

TTFN.
